So great, I really realize many things from the book

This book has so many great life lessons and contains some of my favourite quotes。 Definitely worth a read⭐️ It is, however, a book which requires your undivided attention- not something to read with distractions in the background。 I found that Covey likes to illustrate his points using stories。 This is a good way to explain things but sometimes one point is explained using multiple consecutive stories。 I ended up skipping some pages because I personally didn’t need to read the extra stories to This book has so many great life lessons and contains some of my favourite quotes。 Definitely worth a read⭐️ It is, however, a book which requires your undivided attention- not something to read with distractions in the background。 I found that Covey likes to illustrate his points using stories。 This is a good way to explain things but sometimes one point is explained using multiple consecutive stories。 I ended up skipping some pages because I personally didn’t need to read the extra stories to appreciate the lesson he was teaching :) 。。。more

“Unity, or oneness, is complementariness, not sameness。”This book summarises timeless and universal principles applicable to all personal and professional aspects of both individuals and units。 It is filled with a number of personal notes and real life examples experienced by Covey himself。 I definitely find it challenging to integrate all 7 habits into each day but being able to see myself slowly move along the upward spiral using this book is rewarding。 I feel the praise and foreword sections “Unity, or oneness, is complementariness, not sameness。”This book summarises timeless and universal principles applicable to all personal and professional aspects of both individuals and units。 It is filled with a number of personal notes and real life examples experienced by Covey himself。 I definitely find it challenging to integrate all 7 habits into each day but being able to see myself slowly move along the upward spiral using this book is rewarding。 I feel the praise and foreword sections were a bit excessive but great read overall。 。。。more

I was very excited about this book, because of how popular it has been。 I should note that I listened to the audiobook version, which I think is a mistake for a book with so many shorthands that flipping back and forth between pages would have been very helpful。 However, I still think that this was a weak essay bloated out to book size with several variations of the same "examples", where Stephen Covey told personal stories and then made up alternate scenarios to prove his points。 I would have f I was very excited about this book, because of how popular it has been。 I should note that I listened to the audiobook version, which I think is a mistake for a book with so many shorthands that flipping back and forth between pages would have been very helpful。 However, I still think that this was a weak essay bloated out to book size with several variations of the same "examples", where Stephen Covey told personal stories and then made up alternate scenarios to prove his points。 I would have far preferred actual research and data。 Additionally, the 7 habits themselves were not particularly clear and well-explained。 It felt very much like someone trying to give general advice for every aspect of life based only on their business management skills。 I did not gain much, if any insight from this book。 。。。more

This book was absolutely painful to read, but only because I can’t stand self help books, however the content is so paramount it should be taught in school。

This is not a book that can be mastered in one read through。 I stayed in each chapter for a month revisiting it and finding new meaning with each revisit。 This book may come off as obvious but it isn't if you really take the time to digest it。 It took me a year to get through it and I will be rereading this for years to come。There's a reason why this book is referenced so much。 This is not a book that can be mastered in one read through。 I stayed in each chapter for a month revisiting it and finding new meaning with each revisit。 This book may come off as obvious but it isn't if you really take the time to digest it。 It took me a year to get through it and I will be rereading this for years to come。There's a reason why this book is referenced so much。 。。。more

Definitely a must read。 I would say it’s a kind of right of passage for anyone who wants to live a well thought out and happy life。 Tons of practical ways to think about life that I still use in my every day thought processing。 Quadrant II activity baby! Gotta get that in! Don’t be a quadrant I fool。

I thought a lot about my behaviors and my families behaviors。 It was very nice to observe the reasons of our behaviors。 I enjoyed it!

A great book。 I didn't learn that much from it。 However, I did feel as if I was talking to someone who shares all of my ideas。 While the title might give you the impression that this book is only for those who want to progress in their careers , it's not only about that。 As a matter of fact, this book is about how you progress in life in general and not just career-wise。 I strongly recommend that people read this book。 It's a masterpiece。 A great book。 I didn't learn that much from it。 However, I did feel as if I was talking to someone who shares all of my ideas。 While the title might give you the impression that this book is only for those who want to progress in their careers , it's not only about that。 As a matter of fact, this book is about how you progress in life in general and not just career-wise。 I strongly recommend that people read this book。 It's a masterpiece。 。。。more

Excellent book。 Some of the lessons seem familiar and stale, until I realize they probably originated here。I did listen to this book, pausing to read along with sections。 I think it would have been more impactful had I read the whole hard copy, the audio version was nothing special。 This is one I will likely revisit。

I expected this book to be very hokey, but I was pleasantly surprised at the way it was all presented。 For the most part, I think a lot of really good things are taught here。 Some of the principles have a bit more nuance than he portrays (though I know every self-help book can't include all exceptions), and I don't think everything is quite as cut-and-dry as he thinks it is。 Additionally, this generally feels more geared toward working men vs。 anyone else。 Still, it was interesting and whether o I expected this book to be very hokey, but I was pleasantly surprised at the way it was all presented。 For the most part, I think a lot of really good things are taught here。 Some of the principles have a bit more nuance than he portrays (though I know every self-help book can't include all exceptions), and I don't think everything is quite as cut-and-dry as he thinks it is。 Additionally, this generally feels more geared toward working men vs。 anyone else。 Still, it was interesting and whether or not I use this as my life bible ;) going forward, I do intend to apply some of the things he mentions! This book is life-changing and “mindset-changing”。 It opens up my thinking to a whole level。 I always thought it might have been another book that told you if you follow the principles you’ll be successful。 But it’s more than that。 The author gives a lot of example about families, organizations, and corporate environment。 It’s a book that worth rereading again and again。

I don’t know。。。wasn’t really my jam but it did have some good anecdotes and made me think a little bit。 Probably a book you should read over and over but I don’t think I could read this again。
